Assistant Compliance Officer

Nicosia position 

We are currently searching for a high-calibre, career-driven individual to assume the role of Assistant Compliance Officer in Nicosia. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • To coordinate operational activities so as to maintain compliance with legal and requirements; identifying compliance issues, under the guidance of the AML/CO. 
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies
  • Analyze regulatory developments, new compliance legislation and market developments 
  • Enforce organization standards, policies and procedures
  • Research regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and market standards behavior
  • Comparing electronic data with data provided in the original form
  • Conducting KYC verification process for corporate clients and counterparties
  • Conduct compliance monitoring of clients and third parties KYC
  • Consulting services to EU and on-EU based regulated entities to ensure that they are compliant with the relevant and current regulatory requirements 

Job Requirements: 

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field 
  • 1-3 years of experience in a compliance role within a CIF company
  • Experience with CySEC reporting
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong self-starter personality with initiative and the ability to commence and conclude issues from start to finish
  • Excellent skills in document and process formation
  • Fluency in Greek and English is a must; any additional languages will be considered an advantage. 
  • Have the ability to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines

 Compliance/ AML Officer

Nicosia position 

We are currently searching for a high-calibre, career-driven individual to assume the role of Compliance / AML Officer in Nicosia.

In this role you would:

  • Analyse regulatory developments & new compliance legislation
  • Ensure continuous compliance of the company with applicable regulations & laws
  • Develop & enforce adequate policies & procedures in order to meet the compliance requirements of CySEC and other applicable rules and regulations, including procedures and controls relevant to the prevention of AML and anti-terrorist financing
  • Produce & submit compliance & AML reports to the company’s regulator CySEC
  • Prepare and submit reports to the board of Directors
  • Work with all the departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Provide recommendations / advice to business lines on best practices implementation of CySEC’s regulatory requirements
  • Develop compliance training materials & perform on-going training to employees
  • Provide advice & guidance to employees as appropriate on anti-money laundering matters
  • Conduct KYC verification process for corporate clients and counterparties
  • Conduct compliance monitoring of Clients & third parties
  • Conduct compliance transaction monitoring of Clients
  • Enforce AML standards & procedures
  • Be a part of the Compliance Team & monitor the day-to-day work of the employees from a compliance and AML perspective

About you:

  • Degree in law or accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent skills in document processing & formation
  • Fluency in Greek & English; Russian or any other language will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and to be able to be part of a team

Assistant Account Manager / Corporate Department

Nicosia position

We are searching for a high calibre, career driven individual to assume the role of Corporate Administrator in the position of “Assistant Account Manager”.

  • In this role some of the activities include:
  • Drafting resolutions/minutes and plain vanilla and more complex loan and other agreements;
  • Preparation of Annual General Meetings and HE32 to accompany audited Financial Statements;

  • Ensuring corporate registers are updated;
  • Opening bank accounts;
  • Applying for Tax Identification Code number from the local tax authorities;

About you:

  • Corporate services experience;Ideally approximately 4-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and internal staff;
