WE ARE COMMITTED

In line with our goals for fostering and promoting social welfare, on the 21st of June 2019, Savva & Associates participated in “Running Under The Moon”, a corporate 5k run, raising awareness and financial support for the Cyprus Alliance for Rare Disorders. Our team of 14 runners pushed their limits and made a substantial financial contribution, proving that in the sports track, just like in the business track, Savva & Associates will always give 100%.

Savva & Associates has been contributing to the non-profit registered Charity Association Vagoni tis Agapis for a number of years now.

Vagoni tis Agapis is run solely by volunteers and was founded to help fellow citizens living in poverty or on the margins of society, who are striving to exercise their human rights, assert their dignity as full citizens and take control of their lives.

To this purpose, the charity delivers immediate, one-off or regular assistance to people in need, either by delivering immediate food and other day to day necessities to people in need, financial assistance with the partial or total payment of household bills, financial assistance with the payment of school fees for the dependent children.

Also financial assistance to adult students in need, financial assistance for medical expenses or treatment abroad, financial assistance towards the purchase of desperately needed domestic appliances and also assists with the immediate supply of clothing and/or furniture from the deposit of donated items kept at its warehouse.

Savva & Associates remains committed to contributing to this charity and to supporting fellow human beings who are in need.

As part of its commitment to the refugee community and to the aim of supporting children in need arriving to Cyprus under refugee status, Savva & Associates has made a substantial contribution to the Giving Tree Nursery School, based in Nicosia, Cyprus, helping enhance the lives of over 75 recently displaced children, coming from 233 refugee families. We remain committed to supporting this cause for the years to come and encourage those around us to do so as well.

In 2018, Savva & Associates made a substantial monetary contribution towards the Stand by Greece cause – the relief programme designed to assist the victims of the wildfires which burned down a large residential area in the city of Athens, Greece.

As part of its commitment in promoting equality and diversity in the workplace and the society in general, Savva & Associates has made a substantial contribution to Accept – Cyprus. A non-profit organization, striving for a society based on respect for each individual and their diversity, free from discrimination and prejudice.
