Extension for submitting Individual Income Declaration for the 2021 tax year

The Cyprus Tax Department reports that, in accordance with a Council of Minister's decision, a decree will be issued that will extend the due date for filing an individual's tax return for the tax year 2021.

The extension of submission of the individual tax return on income applies for employees, pensioners, and self-employed without accounts—as well as the deadline for paying the tax owed in accordance with the said declaration (self-taxation)—until August 31, 2022, at 23:59.

Moreover, employees can file their income tax returns for the year 2021 via TAXISnet Cyprus 2021.
